About Consumer Sun

ConsumerSun is a free resource for shoppers. We publish buying guides, product reviews and plain-English answers to the questions people ask before they spend money. It is published by the ConsumerSun Editorial Team and owned by Cloudalien Technologies LLC.

Who owns ConsumerSun

ConsumerSun is owned by the same company as OPA Nutrition. We hold OPA products to the same standards as every other brand. When an article mentions or links to an OPA product, it says so at the top of the page. OPA products don't get a better rating or a higher position for being ours. If one doesn't measure up, the article will say so.

What we cover

Most of what is published today is about health and supplements. We are expanding into the following categories, one at a time:

• Scams and consumer rights: spotting scams, disputing charges and getting your money back
• Health and supplements: what is in a product, what the research says and what it costs to use
• Saving money at home: bills, subscriptions and everyday costs
• Home and appliances: what to buy, what to skip and how to compare
• Tech and gadgets: buying guides and honest trade-offs

Who writes it

Articles are researched and written in-house by the ConsumerSun Editorial Team. Nobody on the team is a doctor, pharmacist, dietitian, lawyer or financial adviser. We say that up front because it matters for the subjects we cover. What we offer is a careful reading of labels, published research, official guidance and the fine print. It is not professional advice. For anything involving your health, your legal rights or a large financial decision, talk to someone qualified to assess your situation.

How we work

Our standards are on Our Review Process. In short, we check claims against primary and official sources, show our reasoning, never claim testing we didn't do, and correct mistakes openly.

How the site is funded

ConsumerSun earns money from affiliate links. If you buy something after clicking one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. No brand pays to be reviewed, ranked, included or left out. The full details, including our ownership, are on the Advertising Disclosure page.

Corrections and contact

Prices change, products are reformulated and research moves on. Every article carries a date. If something is wrong or out of date, tell us through the contact page and we will fix it.
