Consumer guides and reviews · Same owner as OPA Nutrition · Some links earn a commission

Editorial policy

Our standard

ConsumerSun guides start from primary sources: the product label or spec sheet, published research, and official guidance from bodies such as the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements, the FDA, the FTC and the CFPB. We check each claim against those sources, show our reasoning and say plainly when the evidence is thin or mixed.

What we don't claim

  • We do not run laboratory tests. An article only says a product was tested if we actually tested it.
  • Nobody on the team is a doctor, pharmacist, dietitian, lawyer or financial adviser, and articles are not presented as professional advice.
  • Health articles make no disease claims.

How articles are written

Articles are researched and written in-house by the ConsumerSun Editorial Team, with AI tools used for research support and drafting. A person edits every article before it is published. Each article shows the date it was last updated.

Rankings and money

No brand pays to be reviewed, ranked, included or left out. Some links earn a commission, which funds the site; commissions do not decide what we recommend. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Products made by our sister company, OPA Nutrition, are judged by the same criteria as every other brand and always carry a disclosure (see Ownership).
