Baby Formula Recalls: Current List and Lot-Code Check
The infant formula recalls in FDA data right now, the exact lot codes and UPCs, and what to do if yours matches.

Short answer: Baby formula recalls are announced by the FDA. As of October 14, 2026, the FDA's enforcement data lists two ongoing Class I infant formula recalls: ByHeart Whole Nutrition (Clostridium botulinum, all batches through November 8, 2025) and Nara Organics Whole Milk Organic Infant Formula (possible Clostridium botulinum, specific lots). Check the lot code and UPC on your can against the notice, and stop using it if it matches.

Class I is the FDA's most serious class, used where the product could cause serious health problems or death. "Terminated" means the FDA considers the recall complete.
How to check your formula
- Find the codes. The lot code and use-by date are printed on the bottom of the can or the side of the box. The UPC is the barcode number.
- Compare with the notice.
- ByHeart: the FDA record covers all batches with finished-product dates from November 8, 2023 to November 8, 2025, including single cans (UPC 8 50044 96800 8), the Sam's Club 2-pack, the Amazon 2-pack and the single-serve Anywhere Packs. About 3.48 million cans and 3.53 million packets.
- Nara Organics: the FDA record lists 16 specific lot codes ending in "E14F2" or "ENNB", with use-by dates from March 16, 2027 to February 11, 2028, in two sizes (UPC 860013251901 and 860013251918). About 377,610 cans.
- If it matches, stop using it. Keep the can or photograph the codes, and follow the company's instructions on the FDA recalls page.
